Life has been nuts lately and I feel like I have some pretty good excuses... let me explain.
Well first let's look at a few catch-up pictures.
When did my kids get this big?!
On March 17th (St. Patties Day) we had some awesome friends, the Littles, stop by from Ohio. It was so much fun to catch up and the kids LOVED Matt. Here's the only picture I got of us all and of course, I chopped our heads off... oh well.
Proof of their love of Matt. He's a ton of fun. They were only in town for one short day but we were so glad they were able to stop and see us.
Macey lost her first tooth at the end of March!! She was so nervous and so excited. She though that the old string on a doorknob trick would work well for her, and so she had her Dad help her out. While he was in there tying on the string he just pulled the tooth out and it was over before she knew it! She's already working on a second loose tooth as we speak.
We put our beloved Monroe house on the market for $149,900 on March 18th. We are working with
Angie Stubbs and she's doing the leg work (though we'll pay for it in the
end...). The house has been shown a dozen or so times since then but no offers
or anything. We'll be glad to have it sold and have all the stress and debt out
from under us.
While the house was on the market the kids got 2 different stomach
flues about a week apart, Kimball got the virus that is the start of cold sores
and it was SO hard on him (fever, diarrhea, sores) and then the boys got hand,
foot, and mouth - a super horrible case of it.... it lasted and lasted and
lasted. I tended sores on their feet for weeks. I was so tired after all of
this that we decided to move to Orderville a bit earlier than planned so that I
wouldn't have to be all alone in a house that I'm supposed to keep super clean
for showing. We ended moving to Orderville officially on April 12, 2013.
This event was a HUGE milestone to us. We've been working so
diligently for years so that we could move here and make a living while giving
our kids the life/childhood we thing will be the very best for them. Thomas has
his Engineering license, he works at least 20 hours a week from home, which is
enough to live on, and then he's working on plans for the new hardware store
that they will start on this summer.
It's hard to keep a house clean with little critters running around in it:)

And I'm having serious kitchen withdraw. This is great but I LOVED my other kitchen.

And not only have my kids been sick but so have I. I'm pregnant with bebe number 4 who is due on Halloween. I'm so excited but it's been rough. Moving was mostly just to help me not die while trying to show the house. I've been tired and throwing up for weeks. I'm almost 15 weeks so I hope some of this will end sooner than later.
I wanted to tell you all personally, but that just hasn't happened. And I figure if you still stop by this poorly neglected blog then we are friends and you'll need to know this info. Just so you do know, I'm not ready for it to be on Facebook. I'll announce it there when I know what the gender is. So for now, this is our little secret and your gift from me for keeping up with the blog.
It's been a long/crazy/fun/stressful/busy/tiring few months and I'm looking forward to the summer of swimming and taking naps :)
