No need

I am grumpy tonight... I don't have any good reason or cause to be, I just am. Macey is too. We are a mess. Poor Thomas should be excited a little boy is coming his way, too many girls in this house already!
This picture by my friend Rachel makes me feel better. I just thought I would share it.

Sunday Fun

After a fun Sunday morning, we all took a nap. We had an itch for the outdoors after waking up and so decided to take a bike ride up to BYU to poke around. Macey loved the ride and we had fun taking her.

Thomas bought this little bike seat for a dollar and was so excited to try it out! He rode the bike with Macey.Don't tell BYU but we also let Macey play in their fountains. Of course Thomas had to follow her so she didn't fall!
We came home and ate Rice Krispie treats and put Macey to bed. I great end to a great day...

Managers

We had a short family ceremony to retire our "For Rent" sign for the 2009/2010 school year renting season! I am officially full until April 2010. I am beyond excited to have less phone calls and to stop showing apartments. This is a great day in the life of a manager.
We also thought we should take a picture because this could very well be out last year... the only home Macey and baby will have ever known.
Now we just need all of the tenants to move in and get settled. Then I will settle down for my long winter break... until the end of October :)

Red Fury

We bought a tiny bike at the DI for $1, training wheels for $1, and a little helmet for $3. $5.00 later we had her birthday present! She fell in love in the store and rode it constantly for the next couple of days. Thomas decided it was not fit for a queen, so he took matters into his own hands.

After sand blasting the parts, he rigged up this sweet painting station outside our apartment.

Macey was so excited to have her bike put all back together. She loves it and the "hat". Not bad for a $5.00 birthday present...
We've named the bike "Red Fury". Suiting rider for a bike with such a name.

Pop Rocks

Do you remember those funny candies that pop in your mouth? They had some at the store the other day and I had to get some! I don't like them, but I thought it would be funny to see what 2 year olds thought.
I think she liked them... then she dumped the rest of the package on the ground and danced on them. They pop when you step on them!
Jonas on the other hand liked them for about 2 minutes and then decided he did NOT like them.
Macey asked me to put Hop in her shirt the other day. I asked her what she was doing and she said "my baby". She has a baby under her shirt just like mom. Hopefully mine won't come out so hairy...

Our Best Family Night Yet

With 2 coupons in tow we went to the BYU game center for a little bowling last night. We had never seen this little contraption that made bowling much easier for the person who weighs less than the ball.
It is amazingly accurate and she bowled very well!

At home we made a dinner of homemade baked corn dogs, sweet potato fries, and even tried our hand at giant soft pretzels. They turned out so good!
Macey then ended her evening with a song, lesson, and soak in the tub. She's been working on laying down in the tub, ears covered with water, for a few days now. She is now officially brave enough to stay this way most her bath and loves it. She'll only do it when Dad is there to help though... a trust thing if you will.
We love family night.
