The Busiest Weekend Ever

I have a lot to catch up on before I get to our recent Kentucky vacation, so here it goes!

The weekend before Macey's birthday was crazy busy.

We went to Orderville on Thursday to bury our sweet baby nephew. He was only needed on Earth for a few short hours and is leaving his mom, dad, and twin brother here for us to love. It was a beautiful grave-side service and the truth of a restored gospel was there and strong. I'm so grateful for the knowledge that I have because how would something like this be ok with out it?

We hung out with family on Friday and then had Macey's swimming birthday party at the town pool Saturday night. We invited lots of people but lots of people were busy, so the few who made it had a blast and I was so grateful that they came. A party just isn't a party without guests!

After a few days in Orderville we headed home on Saturday night. Sunday Thomas wanted to go to Fish Lake to check out some camping spots for his boy scouts.

We spent hours in the car enjoying the cool mountain breeze, a picnic dinner, and a disappointing lake with a 1 million misquitoes and a dead cow in it.

Judge me if you will, but we were going 8 mph on a dirt road so we let the kids out of their seat belts. There were in heaven!

I need a nap some Mondays to recover from the weekend :)
