Oh what a week!

Well 10 days ago we were packing up to go to Orderville to help Lucy get ready for Sammi's wedding!
We sure don't pack light...
Baking began on Saturday- a full 6 days before the wedding, and not a day too soon!
18 boxes of cake mix
16 pounds of powdered sugar
12 cups of whipping cream
9 pounds of butter
11 bags of marshmallows
and a lot of other things later we ended up with a wedding cake and 420ish lovely cupcakes!
The cake was rice crispy bottomed and cake topped... much easier than all cake!  Thomas helped with make the crispy squares, square.  He's such an engineer sometimes.  Thanks bug!
Henry supervised and Macey did quality control on all products.

We ended up with this little beauty.  I was so pleased with how it turned out!
Her she is in all of her receptions glory!
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Leinbach
And the Thomas Griffiths Family
Terry and Lucy are to blame for this crew... all 7 of her babies are now married!
The cupcake setup.  The raspberry lemonade cupcakes were the clear favorite with the PB cup in close second.
Squeeze-it's served in a wheel barrow, cotton candy, snow cones, and a few Big Cheese cheese balls were all the rage.
Baby Jane getting a little Kool-Aid without the mess!

And then my worst nightmare happened... the cake got destroyed :)
After working like a dog all week, Lucy let me have the day off on Saturday.  We went to the smallest parade in the world...
Macey enjoyed the candy even when the travlers and semis were the only thing to look at.
We then went to the town park for a little slip-n-slidin'
We then drove all the way up Cedar Mt to Cascade Falls to find out it was closed...
The night ended with a cookout and fireworks to celebrate Lucy's 56th Birthday!
Macey stayed up until 11:30pm - her record to date- and then threw up in the car on the way home this morning.  She's not allowed to stay up that late until Junior Prom.
