After 3 days in Kentucky and 3 more in Indiana we decided to head up to the Chicago area to visit our besties from BYU, Chace, Rivka, and newest family member Matilda (fondly known as Tilly). It was so very good to see them. They are amazing people and we clicked from day one. We miss them something fierce. Since they left BYU Chace has gotten a fancy job with Dow, they bought a house, and Tilly was born! We had a lot to talk about.
We made the trip into down town and they showed us the ropes of city dwellers. I am in LOVE with Chicago. It was beautiful, clean, and so very friendly. Macey made friends with lots of people every time we got on the bus.
Our first stop was the Museum of Science and Industry. We were there for over 4 hours and I didn't even walk by everything! It was huge and amazing.

It's hard to see but there is a real tornado, lightening, and a million other cool storm things being created and demonstrated behind Thomas.

The German U-Boat the we captured in WWII. It has an amazing story and I didn't even know it existed! It's the only "enemy" boat we have on our soil.
We then took a bus to take a water taxi. The water taxi was just a boat taxi, but it gave us such a cool peak at the city.
Navy Peir
This is a giant water fountain with an illuminated face on it and the face sometimes spits lots of water. It was very odd and very cool.

It was hard to leave the Wilcoxson, and I realized we didn't even take a picture together! Boo!
