Busy busy Bees!

Well we are all in a tizzy trying to get things moving on the remodel - no surface left untouched! But we are also still trying to sell our current apartments contract, so we are living in two places.

We've come up with a crazy plan to live in half of the house as is, remodel the other half, and then switch.  The first phase is going to be the most challenging!  We put the stove and fridge in a tiny little mud room and we'll be eating out of our bedroom/living room!  Most of our stuff we'll store int he barn and the rest will be packed in our tight quarters.

While I've been busy packing and tearing down walls, the kids have been busy too!

With such a small space for the time being I've put up all of my books expect for these.  I thought the books to keep out were very telling!  Children's song book, Happy is the Man (a social biography that Thomas is reading about an ancestor), Ball Blue Book (canning guide), Shoaf Family cookbook, America's Test Kitchen cookbook, baking book, and slow cooker book, The Backyard Homestead (a little bit of everything from chickens to plants), and The Potentially Sane Mother's Guide to Raising Young Children (my current read), and one I forgot to put in the picture - Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Child.   Cooking and babies... that's our life!
Chop chop goes the over growth.

Macey storing mint she picked inthe fridge that we were cleaning out.
Pictures of this weekends demolition to come!  We were busy, and tired, and hot, and sweaty, and overwhelmed, and happy, and hot.
