We have been having so much fun getting into the holiday season.  We have advent calendars galore, fun things to do, and lots of people to see.  We've been getting the house decorated, working on our family photo, and we still need to make gingerbread houses and goodie plates.   Oh how I love this time of year.  Macey makes it even more fun though; I can't count how many times she has said "this is the best day ever!" to me in the past few weeks.

Preschool is also in full swing.  It was at my house this week and we did some Christmas book reading and crafting.
We made Christmas cards.   The kids loved using my stamps!
They also made some with these cute stickers from my mother in law.  Most of the nativity cards looked like this...
This was my favorite though.   This little boy didn't want the baby to be alone or cold so he made sure EVERYONE fit inside of the barn.
Monroe City had a cute little tree lighting festival on Monday night.  Tons of people came, the turn on the Christmas lights in the town park, and then Santa came riding into town on a fire truck!  It was pretty exciting. They even had hot chocolate and donuts.  It was probably 15 degrees outside and even with a snow suit on Henry was not having a blast.  The line for Santa was SUPER long. So we decided to go home, have dinner, and then let Macey and her dad go back.  It was the beset idea ever.  They waited in line for just a few minutes and were the second to last people there.  Macey told me that she told Santa she would like a dress.
Thanks for taking her back Thomas, I think she loved it!  Now pack to my goodie plate planning!
